Our history

The first Hiwin sales office in Italy opened In 2013 in Milan Rho. Within a short time, this gives way to a new branch in Brugherio (MB), which has been recording densely growing numbers since 2015.

The aim is to offer the market a wide range of products and integrated automation and motion control solutions as efficiently as possible, guaranteeing customers with indispensable specialised technical support from our Italian engineers, who are employed to power the search for custom solutions for client companies. These are part of the team of some 90 employees now working in one of the 13 international subsidiaries, a stimulating environment thanks to its unstoppable development and adaptability.

From industrial to biomedical systems, from biochemistry to energy savings, from photonics to transport: Hiwin applied for 3252 patents up to 2016.
The financial results led Hiwin to fifth place in the Top 100 Global Growth Enterprise for 2016 compiled by Nikkei Business.
