RS Series
Ball splines are linear systems for transmitting torque.
The balls inserted in the spline nut perform a linear translation movement, transmitting or resisting torsional torques thanks to the tracks on the shaft.
The shape of the cylindrical spline nut with fixing through feather key allows for easy mounting. It is possible to supply the spline nut with either slight backlash or preload. This system ensures a compact design combined with a high safety factor and a long service life under radial loads, bending moments and torsion.
For Splines with hollow shaft, refer to the following table of standard hole diameters.
