The linear guideway can be lubricated by the self-lubricating module irrespective of mounting directions. The cartridge can be added or removed from the block even when the guideway is installed on a machine.

The important thing is to use an oil with the appropriate viscosity to provide the best lubricant supply, also suitable for food regulations.

This consists of a polymeric material with an integrated lubricant that enables the gradual release of the optimized lubrication film.

It is advantageous in terms of compactness, suitable for miniature guides and conforms to ISO 1466 class 6 clean room use. Extends the maintenance period up to 10,000km.

Guideways equipped with this technology have cages inside that separate and space the balls/rollers, which are made of patented material. They feature an optimized design and guarantee excellent fluidity and smoothness.

Grade pockets between the balls allow up to 80-100 times longer lubrication intervals compared to traditional guideways.

They are used in the main series produced by Hiwin (balls and rollers): QH, QE and QR.
